Retired MSG David Lawrence Powell, 77, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 in Highsmith Rainey Hospital.

MSG Powell retired from the US Army after 25 years of service and was a Vietnam Veteran. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Powell of Clarksville, TN, Clarissa Powell of Fayetteville, NC, Diana Ramdass of Loganville, GA, Tammy Powell of Fayetteville, NC and many extended family members.

A Celebration of Life Service with Full Military Honors will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Reilly Rd. Presbyterian Church, 208 South Reilly Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314 with Rev. Randall Rogers officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Reilly Rd. Presbyterian Church, 208 South Reilly Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314.
