LaFayette Funeral Home went beyond the call of duty at the unexpected departure of our loved one. Availability to our needs was without request, their personal touch was God's Hands extended to our family, followup to details was bearable because of their guidance and most of all a true call of excellence was displayed in every aspect of the extremely hard journey. They are to be commended for being not just a business but a Choice Servant to the community. May God bless them is our prayer.
I am so grateful for the staff specially Sean the way he went above and beyond to make our Sad and emotional moment easy. They did a wonderful job when my Dear Husband passed away. I could say they took care of everything without skipping a beat and made sure everyone was taken care of. My Husband was Veteran and they bring him with all the Honors.
The Funeral was beautiful as funeral would be. I will and have recommend them. Thank you for all you did and all that you do to take care of our veterans. God Bless you all.
They are so wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you to Rick and all the staff, that have made these tough days easier for us!
Very accommodating and sweet staff. They made such a devastating event run smoothly for myself and my fiances family. They are very caring and patient people.
For the most trying time in a families life no one could make easier. The Kelly family.
Rick and the staff at LaFayette Funeral home were amazing!!! From the moment I called they treated my family and I as if we were their own family. I can not stress enough how much they impressed us with their "can do attitude", willingness and attention to detail. They ensured my Fathers going away was exquisite. Well done Rick and Robert.
Sean and everyone else at Lafayette Funeral Home did a fantastic job of helping our family through difficult times. We recommend them to everyone and wish them the best.
Pastor Robert Staples and staff what a wonderful service you provided to the family of Jessie Mae Mintz. I know this family was so pleased with your services and the song Amazing Grace... It was so heart warming and singed under the Spirit of God just what Mae would have wanted. Truly glad to see a funeral home in our area with Christian staff and that upholds Christian values. Thank you again for all you done for this beautiful and precious family.
Words alone cannot express the love and care that you and your staff showed our family during the death of our loving mother and the passing of our father, a few years ago. Not only are you are truly wonderful folks, but you feel like family! Mother's service was beautiful from the beginning to the end. Your total areas of service is awesome! Live streaming the service gave a very special relative, who could not be at the service, an opportunity to be apart of the service, Thank you, thank you for the treatment and love you gave to our family!
From the moment we had to call you about my dad to the moment we picked up his ashes it felt like family! Sean Clark treated us as though we were members of his family and cared about our Dad as we did. Everything we needed and wanted he worked diligently to provide. Losing a loved one is so incredibly hard, but having someone who treats your loved one as their own made the entire ordeal so much more manageable. I cannot fully express my thanks for everything you did and how you treated our family. Thank you so very much! Thank you...
Thank you so much for helping to ensure a dignified and lovely send-off for my husband's friend, Craig Nobles. We are very grateful.
Rick, I just wanted to thank you for what you and Lafayette did to honor Mr. McIver. I am a Ride Captain with the Sandhills District with the NCPGR and I have stood many missions at Lafayette and you folks do an Outstanding Job of Honoring our Military!!!! It is an Honor to be associated with such a caring family of Patriots!!
"Standing For Those Who Stood For Us"
I have never heard of this place until this week when I attended a funeral service of a neighbor. The service was at the home so I have never been to one like that either. It was so beautiful. Rev. Staples brought forth a sermon like I have never heard. He was so compassionate with his emotions. I though I even seen him wipe a tear away during the closing song. I was just blown away. I though he was the family minister and then learned that he was on staff at the funeral home. That course he sung is one of my favorites from a little boy I used to hear my Grandma sing that song. After the service I got to speak with Rev. Staples and Rick. I explained how much they had helped this family. I told my wife once I got home, if anything ever happened to me before her to call LaFayette Funeral Home. Thank you for being a part of our community and caring for the people the way that you do.
Although one of the smaller funeral homes it was just the right size and location for us. The personal service received by my family was warm and welcoming. I do not know if they cared about my loved one or not but all that mattered was that they made us feel like they did. They made all the necessary arrangements and walked us thru every step.
I'm from WVA, but, recently attended the funeral of a dear friend there in Fayetteville. Because, the services were held at the church, I did not get to see the funeral palor, but, the staff of this funeral home were absolutely the best I have ever seen anywhere. Rick and Robert were just totally awesome. One moment stood out in my eyes and I will never forget it. What stood out to me were their actions during the service. These gentlement walked in sync, never missing a step.... liked they had practice numerous times just for this service. Nothing was ever rush or speeded along. The closing of the casket is the moment that I will never forget. It was done like I've never seen before. The two walked down the asile, met in middle, faced each other briefly, then turned around facing the casket. They then paused for moment, Rick lifted the flower from the top of casket and then stepped straight back, Robert folded all the material into the inside of the casket, taking the time to make sure it was nice and neat; with such compassion he then slowly lowered the lid down to the casket. It was very quiet and soft, so professional, respectful and graceful. Then Rick placed the flower back on the casket and again they paused and faced each other before proceeding out. I will never forget that moment. I have no family in Fayetteville, NC but I can assure you if I did, and I needed those services, LaFayette Funeral Home would be my first on only choice. Keep up the good work guys!
