Ms. Rita Scarbourgh Strub, 79, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ms. Strub was born in Calhoun, Mississippi on April 4, 1934 to the late Robert L. and Lucy Elvy Scarbourgh. She was a Professional Caregiver. Her daughter, Kelli Welch departed this life shortly after her mother on Saturday.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Clubbs, Mark Jadwin, Richard Strub, Michael Strub; brother James Scarbourgh; grandchildren, Rita Strub, Austin Brandt, Shannon Strub, Shelby Strub, Alexa Welch, Sydney Strub, Michelle Clubbs Cornman, Stacey Berberich, Jake Jadwin, Rich Jadwin, Jarid Jadwin; great grandchildren, Brandon Clubbs, Chestor Cornman, Gabriel Berberich, Brianna Carter, Lynzee Carter Cameron Carter Arianna Jadwin, significant siblings to Michael Strub, Angie Corrado, April Norton, Callie Strub.

A Memorial Service will be held 6:00-7:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 202 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304 with Rev. Dr. Tryon Lancaster officiating.
