Wish I had words to remove the heartache you must feel. The link of your sons memorial was given to me from my son, another 1st Calvary solder from fort Hood, Texas. As I watched the video, tears began to flow, wondering how you and his son Zayn will surely miss Michael.

As the parent of a fellow 4-9 Cav trooper that was on rotation at NTC with PVT. Garcia, my deepest sympathies and condolences to this family. This man was a father, a son, a brother and a soldier. The selfless sacrifices of our men and women in service must not be forgotten. May God give you peace and comfort in this time of loss and in the days to come. Rest In Peace Warrior.
