Jeanne A. (DuFour) Staley

Mrs. Jeanne A. Staley, 70, formerly of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts passed away at her home in Fayetteville, NC on Monday, March 6, 2017.

 She leaves behind her husband and friend of 47 years, Ronald Staley of Fayetteville, formerly of Sterling, Mass.

 Mrs. Staley was born on December 29, 1946. She attended Worcester Girls Trade School and Boston School of Design. She taught adult dressmaking at Worcester Girls Trade. Later, she worked for several electronic manufacturing companies and retired from Eaton Corporation in Fayetteville, NC. Jeanne was an accomplished traditional rug hooker and member of the Piedmont Rug Hookers, and a Fiber Artist.

 Mrs. Staley is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Sally Dufour and a brother Richard Dufour.

 Along with her husband, she is survived by her brother, Raymond Dufour and his wife Carol of Colchester Conn; several nieces, Jennafer Dufour of Portsmouth, NH, Samantha Barry of Jacksonville, FL, Lisa DeFrancesca and her husband Mike of Franklin, Mass; nephews, Ernest Gronblom of Nashua, NM, Andrew Gronblom and his wife Susan of Princeton, Mass and her sister-in-law, Norma Jean Gronblom and her husband Carl of Sterling, Mass.

 A visitation to celebrate her life will be held 2:00-5:00 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2017 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

 Further services will be held in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts at a later date.
