William Denton "Billy" Minnick

William Denton ‟Billy” Minnick, 56, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family.

Billy was born in Garrett Co., Maryland on June 14, 1966, son to the late Raymond and Jean Parker Minnick. Billy was a handy man and could do most anything to include, construction, painting and a general Mr. fix it. He would help anyone and his loss will be greatly felt by his family who loved him dearly.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a life long friend Nancy Elmore; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. 

He is survived by his daughter, Angel Minnick Wilson; a son, Robert Minnick; and all the children of his life; 5 grandchildren, Devon Tart, Anthony Tart, Aiden Wilson, Nova Tippett, Lennon Sheeley; 2 brothers, Charles Minnick and Allen Minnick; a sister, Carol Minnick; 6 nieces, 6 nephews and a host of extended family members.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Family Community Baptist Church, 3915 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.

A service to celebrate his life will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Roy Arrington officiating.
