Wanda Faye Farrar

Wanda Faye Nance, 75, passed away Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 in her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family.

Wanda was born in Columbus County North Carolina on July 29, 1945, daughter to the late Truett Hudson Nance and Mary Dorothy Freeman-Nance. Wanda graduated High School from Massey Hill Classical High School in 1963. She spent her life as a home maker. She had a passion for gardening, as well as camping and fishing. Above all, Wanda cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Candice Price and her husband Charles Price of Bunnlevel, NC; a son, Charles Humphrey, of Panancea, FL; a sister Brenda Lambert, of Wilmington, NC; six grandchildren, Alexis Farrar and her husband, Enoch Butler, of Raeford, NC, Kaydence Price and Gabriel Price, of Bunnlevel, NC, Dylan Farrar, of Charlotte, NC and Tegan Humphrey, of Crawfordville, FL, and Harlie Lutes, of PA and leaves a host of friends and family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held, 12:00 P.M. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery, 8975 Andrew Jackson Hwy SW, Cerro Gordo, NC 28430 with Chaplain Larry Winters officiating.
