Treasa Ward Obituary
Mrs. Treasa G. Ward, 64, of Lumberton passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 in UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina.
Treasa was born in Sebring, Florida on January 3, 1959, daughter to the late Booster Godwin and Leslie Ree Hunt Godwin. She worked as a Knitter in Textiles before retirement and loved her family dearly. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Martinez Godwin. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Treasa is survived by her husband, Walton ‟Walt” Ward III of the home; a son, David Koon of Lumberton, brothers, Bruce Godwin, Leon Godwin, Randy Godwin and Jack Godwin, all of Lumberton; sisters, Lucy Butler and Sandra Godwin, both of Lumberton; 6 grandchildren, and many extended family members.
A Graveside Service will be held, 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in Meadowbrook Cemetery, N. Walnut Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.
