Timothy Locklear Obituary

Timothy Dewese Locklear, 63, of Fayetteville, NC died Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Timmy was born in Fayetteville, NC on January 3, 1960 son to the late Fentress Locklear and Magdalene Chavis Locklear. A talented pianist he loved to sing and play baseball. He was an All State Athlete at South View Sr. High School.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Mark Locklear and wife Cathy, of Aberdeen, NC, Jerome Locklear and Keith Locklear, both of Fayetteville, NC; his Aunt Margaret Hunt, of Fayetteville, NC; his cousins Annette, Glenda, Sharee, Laree and Dora; some special friends; and a host of extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2023 at LaFayette Funeral Home located 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. Pastor Ricky Burnett will be officiating.
