Timothy Wayne Davis

Timothy Wayne Davis,72, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 3, 2021. He fought a hard battle with Covid 19, and succumbed to the illness, after being a recipient of a lung transplant in October of 2020. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Davis and a brother Donnie Davis.

Tim is survived by his wife, Dixie, of the home; a son Robbie Davis, of Boca Rotan, FL; two daughters Ashley Davis, of Boca Rotan, FL and Melissa Ledford (Bradley) of Hope Mills, NC, two granddaughters, Kaylee and Eden Ledford, of Hope Mills, NC, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.   Tim’s granddaughters were the sunshine of his life.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Southview Baptist Church located on Elk Rd. Hope Mills, NC 28348. Family will receive friends prior to the service 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The Rev. Brad Lynch will be officiating the service.
