Russell Henry Regenhardt Jr.

Russell Henry Regenhardt Jr., 70, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Cumberland Rehab Center of Cumberland.

Russell was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina on June 15, 1952 son to the late Russell Henry Regenhardt Sr. and Elizabeth Arnette Regenhardt. He graduated Massey Hill High School, Class of 1970 and then earned a Bachelor’s Degree at UNC Pembroke. Mr. Regenhardt made a career teaching, encouraging and motivating others to maximize their potential. Russell loved and enjoyed spending time with his family, supporting their dreams and cheering for their success in life.

He is survived by his wife, Reva Regenhardt, of the home; his son, Rodney Regenhardt (Jeannie Ortiz), of Florida, his daughters, Rhonda Regenhardt, of Henry, VA and Robyn Massey (David), of Hope Mills, NC; his brother, Mike Regenhardt (Ruby), of Fayetteville, NC; his sister, Pamela Moran (Allen) of Point Pleasant, WV; his three grandchildren, Jacob Regenhardt-Ortiz, Ryan Regenhardt-Ortiz, and Riley Regenhardt-Ortiz; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Southview Baptist Church 4089 Elk Rd. Hope Mills, NC 28348. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brad Lynch officiating.
