Robert Daniel Beasley

Robert D. “Danny” Beasley, 74, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Danny was born June 4, 1946 in Robeson County, NC to the late Letha Mae Haithcox Beasley and Belton Beasley Sr. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Jackson Barefoot, brother, Belton “June” Beasley Jr., and sister, Alene Mae Beasley Barnes.

Danny was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as an Autobody Repairman and Foreman for most of his life. Danny was a devoted husband, father, friend, and papa. He was known for his skills of craftmanship and his ability to make people laugh. He was humble, kind, and would give the shirt off his back.  He adored his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved to buy things for his grandchildren and would deliver them weekly such as yoo-hoo chocolate drinks, cantaloupe, grapes, watermelon, and a pack of gum.

Danny is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tracy Patrick Beasley of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Tracey “Danielle” Beasley Natale and her husband Jonathon of Hope Mills; four grandchildren, Ashley Barefoot, Parker Barefoot, Madison Barefoot, and Kinley Taylor; son-in-law, Ray Barefoot all of Hope Mills, NC; five brothers, Ken Beasley and his wife Mary, William Beasley and his wife Denise, Gerald Beasley and his wife Karen, Grady Beasley and his wife Betty, and James Beasley; four sisters, Linda Legge, Judy Wagner, Deanna Johnson, and Debra Granillo.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, Monday, January 4, 2021 at Lafayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at Lafayette Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Burns officiating.

Burial will be at Cumberland Memorial Gardens immediately following visitation.
