Patricia Vargas Obituary
Ms. Patricia Dawn Vargas, 52, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021 in FirstHealth Hospice House.
Patricia was born in Cumberland County on November 25, 1968 to the late Jackie and Judy Delk Barr. Patricia never met a stranger. She loved to talk, dance, smoke cigarettes and eat Chicken Pastry. She also loved the beach and Humming Birds and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Brittney Vargas and Patricia's only grandchild, Chayton Jacobs of Fayetteville; brothers, Jay Barr and his wife Tammy and Danny Barr, all of Fayetteville; sisters, Candice Barr and her husband, Jeff Bass of Hope Mills and Beth Barr of Bladenboro; nephews, Zach Barr, and Jonathan Barr; nieces, Kimberly Barr Furmage, Nicole Bass, Lindsey Barr, Shelba Lennon, Elaine Durden, Savannah Simpson and a host of extended family members.
The family will receive friends at Soul Filling Station Ministries, 1024 Southern Ave. Fayetteville, NC 28306 on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
A service to Celebrate her life will follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Reverend Jay Barr officiating.
