MSG Sherman Sutton Obituary

Sherman Lee Sutton age 67 a resident of Fayetteville NC, passed away on May 6, 2023, at home with his loving family.

Sherman was an Airborne Ranger Master Sargent serving 23 years in the US Army, after retiring he was employed as a Government Contractor Systems Administrator. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sutton.

Sherman was survived by his wife, Vicky Sutton; his mother, Helen Sutton; sisters, Sherry Shirley, Machele Dixon, Denise Bixler and brother Marvin McTigue.

Sherman had 3 children Kevin (Michele) Ofeldt, Amanda Cavalier and Heather (Evan) Penfield. 8 grandchildren, Brandon, Alexander, Aubrie, Jared, Wyatt, Sherman, William and Lillian. 4 great-grandchildren, Marion, Amelia, Aroura and Xeno. And several nieces and nephews.

By Shermans request there will be no funeral or service. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to The Wounded Warrior Project.
