Obituary
Lucia Pamillia Peterson, 79, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 in her home.
Lucia was born in Barbados on November 15, 1943, daughter to the late Adolphus Williams and Irene Blackmon Williams. She worked as a Nursing Assistant before retirement and will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Vere Alleyne.
Lucia is survived by her children, Anthony Alleyne of Georgia, Paulette Alleyne of New York, Faye Alleyne of Fayetteville, Joy Alleyne of Salisbury and Anthony Chism of Charlotte; a brother, Anthony Williams of New York; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of extended family members.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM following the visitation with Pastor Elizabeth Turner officiating.
Burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery, Bingham Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
