Leon Edward Small Jr.

Mr. Leon Edward Small Jr., 55, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, April 4, 2021.  Leon was the son of Leon Edward Small, Sr. and Eva Rose Cashwell, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, James Williams and Malcolm Lyons.

Junior thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Working with his hands is the thing Leon enjoyed the most.  He also loved fishing and spending time on the beach.

Junior is survived by his four brothers, Joe Williams and his wife Cindy, of West Virginia; Thomas Small of Fayetteville, NC; Eddie Small and Alex Small, both of Indiana; two sisters, Sandra Gassaway and her husband Horace of Roseboro, NC; Vivian Small Partin and her husband Tracy of Fayetteville, NC.  He also leaves the love of his life, Juliee Small Minter and a host of extended family and friends that will forever hold Leon in their hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Crystal Springs Chapel on 1400 Crystal Springs Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 with Pastor Bruce Suggs Officiating. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 PM before the service.

Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Salemburg, NC.
