Kil C. Duker

Mrs. Kil C. Duker, 64, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 in her home.

Kil was born in Korea on April 2, 1956, daughter to Pak Young Min and Kim Chae Son. She married the love of her life, Curtis Duker Sr., a US Army Soldier and after moving to the United States, they made their home in Fayetteville, NC where Kil worked as a cook and waitress in the Restaurant Business. She was also a mother and homemaker who loved their son Curtis Duker Jr. Kil was a faithful member of the Fayetteville Korean Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Pak Young Min, her mother-in-law, Helen V. Duker, her father-in-law, Curtis Alfred Raison and a brother-in-law, Donald Edward Duker.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Duker Sr. of Fayetteville; her son, Curtis Duker Jr. of Fayetteville; three brothers, Won Gil, Kwon Chu and Kwon Hee, all of Korea; a sister, Choon Hwa of Korea; 2 sister-in-laws, Marilyn E. Duker and Viola V. Duker, both of Delaware; nieces and nephews, Rydell M. Duker, Ryshel M. Duker and Isaih ‟Zey” Duker, all of Delaware and a host of extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will be 12:30 PM Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Fayetteville Korean Baptist Church, 6873 Cliffdale Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314 with Pastor Stan Hyon officiating.

Burial will follow in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.

Due to Corona Virus restrictions, mask will be required at the Funeral Home and the Korean Baptist Church.

고 박길진 성도님은 2020년 7월 19일 64세를 일기로 세상을 떠났습니다. 1956년 4월 2일 한국에서 박영민과 김채선의 딸로 자라왔습니다. 인생의 동반자인 커티스 듀커와 결혼하여 미국으로 이주한 뒤 그녀가 레스토랑 사업에서 요리사와 웨이트리스로 일했던 놀스 케롤라이나주 페잇빌 지역에서 삶의 보금자리를 만들었습니다. 그녀에겐 사랑하는 아들 커티스 듀커 쥬니어가 있는데 아들를 사랑으로 잘 돌보며 보살핀 엄마이기합니다. 많은 주변 지인들은 페잇빌 한 인 침례교회의 성실한 성도였던 그녀의 죽음을 받아들이며 함께 그리워하고 아파하고 있습니다. 고 박길진 성도님의 가족으론 다음과 같습니다. 남편 커티스 듀커, 그의 아들 커티스 듀커 주니어, 한국에 계시는 세명의 형제들, 원길, 권주, 권히 그리고 언니 춘화, 두명의 형님 마린 듀터아 비올라 듀커, 조카 리들 듀커, 리셀 듀커 그리고 이사야 듀커가 있습니다.
