Juanita Dove Obituary
Juanita Byrd Dove, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Haymount Rehab and Nursing Facility.
Juanita was born November 13, 1931 to Paul C. and Hattie D. Byrd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold “Melvin” Dove, and her brother, Robert G. Byrd.
She is survived by daughter, Denise Dove Hall and husband, Jim of Lumber Bridge; granddaughter, Liz Jackson and husband, Brian of Fort Mill, SC.; great-granddaughter, Ella Kate Jackson; sister-in-law, Linda Byrd of Hope Mills; and numerous deeply-loved nieces and nephews.
She was a devout Christian woman and an active and faithful member of Highland Baptist Church for over 80 years.
Juanita worked as the payroll clerk for Burlington Industries and as a media clerk, guidance secretary, and teacher assistant at South View Middle School before retiring in 1997.
A graveside service for Juanita will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street officiated by Pastor Danny Anderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Baptist Church, 4456 Legion Road Hope Mills, NC 28348.
