John Edward Lincoln

John Edward Lincoln, 77, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. John was born July 29, 1943 to the late Clara Brown Lincoln and John Leslie Lincoln. He was preceded in death by a son, John Edward Lincoln Jr.

John was a Navy Veteran of 21 years and served in the Vietnam War. He was known for his passion of technology and to be a spoiler of Grandchildren. John loved music and taught himself to play the guitar and keyboard. He loved the feeling of the wide open road, while riding his motorcycles. John was also a giving person. He donated monthly to St Jude's Children's Hospital as well as to Shriner's Hospital for Children. 

John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diane Lincoln of Fayetteville, son, Christopher John Fisk and his wife Mitzie Fisk of Fayetteville, and daughter, Michele Renae Lincoln of San Antonio TX. John has eight grandchildren, Michael Keefer and his wife Alyssa, Brittany Fisk, Kimberly Lincoln, Savannah Horner, Brandon Perkins, Hope Chavis and her husband Noah, Robert Beal, William Lincoln and seven great grandchildren, Liam Lincoln, Harley Horner, Danny Keefer, Rowen Arredondo, Cara Horner, Joseph Perkins, and Mayson Chavis. 

Visitation will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Ephesus Baptist Church located at 4750 Arabia Rd. Raeford NC 28376. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00pm in the church sanctuary with Pastor Wayne Sanderson and Pastor David Pike officiating. Following the funeral a private burial service will be conducted, for immediate family members in the church cemetery.
