Joel Javier Rodriguez

Joel Javier Rodriguez, 39, of Fayetteville, NC died Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. Joel was born to Iris Rodriguez on June 15, 1982 in Newark, NJ.

Mr. Rodriguez loved life and was an accomplished artist; he enjoyed painting and using his creativity. He was a US Army Veteran, and his unselfish love and dedication to his family will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife, Kristen Rodriguez, of the home; his two sons, Joaquin Rodriguez, and Joel Rodriquez Jr., of the home; his two daughters, Eneida Rodriquez, and Jaleesa Rodriquez, of the home; his mother, Iris Rodriguez, of New Jersey; several brothers and sisters; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The Family will receive friends 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

A private Funeral Service for family and close friends will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home.

Interment will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery located at 8220 Bragg Blvd. Fort Bragg, NC 28310.
