Jessica Hope (LoCastro) Hogan

Jessica Hope Hogan, 42, of Wilmington passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Jessica Hope LoCastro Hogan was born in Baltimore, MD on November 2, 1980, daughter to Angelo and Sheila LoCastro, wife of Demond Hogan and mother of Deivon, Jazmyn, and Jade Hogan. 

Jessica grew up in Arnold, MD, where she attended Broadneck Elementary School, Magothy Middle School and Broadneck High School. In her youth, she enjoyed Girl Scout activities and excelled at swimming and diving. She was an active member of the Bay Hills Swim and Dive Teams throughout her middle and high school years. 

She is survived by her husband, Demond Hogan of Cameron; children, Deivon, Jazmyn, and Jade Hogan, all of Cameron; mother, Sheila Violett LoCastro of Odenton, MD; her brother Jeffrey LoCastro of Wilmington, DE, his wife Denise Burch LoCastro, and their children, Tristen and Cassandra. She is also survived by her brother Anthony LoCastro, his wife Nicole Pagliaro LoCastro, and their son Dominic. She is also survived by her uncle, Brian Violett, of Jane Lew, WV, and her aunt, Mary Elizabeth Violett, of Hay Market, VA and a host of extended family members and friends. 

Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Angelo Carmen LoCastro.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.

Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 PM following the visitation with Minister James Blount Officiating.
