Infant Amari Muiruri Kamunyu

Amari Muiruri Kamunyu was born on October 6, 2023 at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Liberty, NC. He passed away at the Womack Medical Center in the early morning of 5th of February 2024, one day short of 4 months old.

Baby Amari Kamunyu is the son of Antony K. and Reginah W. Muiruri of North Carolina, and the last born of three siblings. He is brother to Juliah Mwangi and Valentina Muiruri. He is the grandson to Mr. & Mrs. Francis and Mary Muiruri of Nairobi, Kenya, and Mr. & Mrs. Daniel and Cecilia Mwangi of Nyeri, Kenya.

Baby Amari’s bubbly personality and sweet smile touched the lives of those around him. He adored the company of his two elder sisters. His family cherishes the memories with their little angel.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at the All American Chapel, Ardennes Street, Fort Liberty, NC, followed by a funeral service immediately after at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held after the service at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 309 Murchison Rd, Spring Lake, NC 28390 at noon.
