Gene Schade Obituary

Gene Duane Schade, 74, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Womack Army Medical Center.

Gene was born in Spencer, WI, son to the late Herman Schade and Bernice Baneck Schade. He joined the US Marines in 1964 and was a Vietnam Veteran. After his service duty, he opened a Locksmith company and ran that until his retirement. He moved to Fayetteville in 2020 to retire and be closer to his family. He joined Northside United Pentecostal Church and was a faithful member. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary Schade and Dennis Schade.

Gene is survived by his wife, Susan Schade of the home; his children, Robert Schade, Ryan Schade and wife Michelle, Aaron Schade and wife Amanda, Paul Puchter and Rhonda Pankonin and husband Jered; 2 sisters, Dixie Antol and husband Jerry, Connie Chessor and husband Veron; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many extended family members and friends

Visitation will be 11:30 AM -12:30 PM, Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Northside United Pentecostal Church, 5000 Arbur Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311. Funeral Services will begin at 12:30 PM following the visitation with Pastor Charles Crumpler officiating.

Burial with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 PM in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
