Edward Nelson Riley

Edward Nelson Riley, 71, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 17, 2021 with his loving wife of 51 years, Norma Riley by his side. Edward was born in Rochester, New York, to the late William Riley and Evelyn Young. He was proceded in death by his two sisters, Patty Kraft and Debbie Myers.

Edward proudly enlisted in the United States Army on March 22, 1968 in Buffalo, New York.  During his enlistment he served in an Infantry Unit at Fort Dix, New Jersey and received a Code of Conduct Medal.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and faithful wife, Norma Riley of Fayetteville, North Carolina; one son, John Charland of New York; one daughter, Kathy Ballard and her husband Steve of Brockport, New York; one brother, Bill Riley; four grandchildren, Stephany Mault and her husband James of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Scott Ballard and Tanner Charland and his wife Paige both of New York and Chance Charland; two great grandchildren, Neva Rose Mault and Jack Edward Mault both of Fayetteville, North Carolina.  

A Private Service will be held by the family, at a later time.
