Barbara Gail (Faulkner) McNeill

Barbara Gail McNeill, 67, transitioned from earth to heaven on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, surrounded by her family at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.  She was born in Bladen County, NC on June 30, 1954 to the late Haynes McKoy Faulkner and Bessie Gertrude Faulkner.  Barbara was also preceded in death by her sister Loretta Malloy.

Barbara accepted the Lord as her Savior and loved Him with all her heart until she was called home.  She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and was known as the “favorite aunt.”  Barbara was a very outspoken and energetic person that loved to eating crab dip.  The Washington Red Skins was also known as her favorite team.

She is survived by her loving mother, Bessie Gertrude Faulkner, one brother, Robert Earl Faulkner and his wife Claire; four sisters, Phyllis Harris of Fayetteville, NC, First Lady Glendora Ford and her Husband Pastor William Ford of Raeford, NC, Sofornia Faulkner and Michelle Faulkner both of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of extended family members and friends.

To Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Barbara Gail McNeill, a visitation will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at LaFayette Funeral Home located on 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.  A Memorial Service will follow immediately after at 1:00 PM.

The Service will be officiated by Pastor Ford will be Live Streamed via Lafayettefh.com
