Andrew "Drew" Curtis Proffitt

Andrew ‟Drew” Curtis Proffitt, 40, of Fayetteville, NC died on August 23, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Andrew was born in Hamilton, OH on August 23, 1982 son to Chris and Tonia Barnes. Drew was a very caring and generous person always helping those around him. Drew never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need, even if it meant going without. If Drew had it and you needed it, it was yours.  He enjoyed sports and was a fan of The Detroit Lions, Detroit Pistons, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Drew had a passion for nice clothes, shoes, hats, and Hello Kitty.  (I know right?)

Drew is survived by his parents, Chris and Tonia Barnes, his sister and brother-in-law, Kristin and Eduardo Duverge, of Raeford, NC; and grandmother Delores in Cincinnati, OH as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at 3:30pm – 6:00pm Friday, September, 2, 2022, at LaFayette Funeral Home 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. A Celebration of Life will take place during this time with Pastor Donnie Smith officiating.
