William Alfred Meyland
June 22, 1955 — June 21, 2018
William Alfred Meyland, 62, of Fayetteville passed away on June 21, 2018. He was born June 22, 1955 to the late Thomas & Clara Jean Meyland.
William graduated from Hoggard High School in Wilmington. He joined the US Navy after school and retired as a Petty officer first class after 20 years of service. William then started driving trucks and returned to school to earn a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Transportation & Logistics.
William is survived by his Wife; Eleanor, Daughter; Moriah (Jeremy) Holland, and three Grandchildren; Isiah, Emma, and Noah.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
