William Paul Anneheim

November 25, 1975 — May 28, 2026

Fayetteville

William “Billy” Anneheim passed away peacefully at his home on May 28, 2026, at the age of 50. He has gone on to be with our Lord and Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones in a place of eternal peace.

Billy was born on November 25, 1975. He dedicated over 20 years of his life to shaping young minds as a middle school math teacher. A natural mentor, he impacted countless students with his patience, encouragement, and unwavering commitment to their success. His calling was more than a profession—it was a passion that left a lasting mark on everyone he encountered.

He was an avid fan of Duke basketball and found joy in cheering on his team. However, nothing meant more to Billy than his family. He shared a deep and special bond with his Korean-born mother, cherishing the simple moments they spent together, especially over shared meals.

Billy will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and the genuine love he showed to family and friends alike.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Anneheim, and daughter, Julia Anneheim, both of Fayetteville; his brothers, Bobby Anneheim of Charlotte, Johnny Anneheim of Asheville, Steven Anneheim of Charlotte, and Jae Rhee; and his sisters, Susan Stein of Fayetteville, Sarah Jackson of Asheville, and Jenny Etheridge. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Billy’s memory will live on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely. He will not soon be forgotten.
