Ms. Tessie Buendia Berry died September 11, 2019 at the age of 57.
Ms. Berry was born March 18, 1962 in the Phillipines to the late Pedro Buendia and Magdalena Peape-Buendia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Haydee, Elizabeth, Rogelio, Francisco and Pedro.
She is survived by a son, James Walter Berry IV of Fayetteville; two daughters, Cristyl Buendia Ellery (Jacob) of Fayetteville and Kerrie Megan Berry (Joshua Suggs) of Fort Gordon, GA, two grandchildren, Joseph Betts and James Walter Berry V; two brothers, Fernando P. Buendia and Elmer P. Buendia and two sisters, Shirley P. Buendia-Polloso and Erlinda P. Buendia. And more than 40 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 27, 2019 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304.
A Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville with Father Gregory Lowchy officiating.
Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park West.
