SRA Tyler Tyreak Li-A-Ping, 23, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Wichita, KS.
Tyler, formerly of Fayetteville, NC was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 8, 1999, son to Gerald Li-A-Ping and Patricia Moore Li-A-Ping. Being from a Military Family, Tyler’s family PCS’ed to many places to include Fort Bragg from 2002-2012 where he attended Elementary school at Hefner Elementary and Middle School at Lewis Chapel Middle School. He attended High School at Eisenhower High School in Ft. Sill, OK and graduated from Manhattan High School in Ft. Riley, KS in 2017. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 2018 graduating Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Air Force Tech School, Pensacola, Fl. in 2019 and was stationed at McConnell Air Force Base, Wichita, KS as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeyman in the 22nd Maintenance Squadron. He loved video games, hanging out with friends, traveling and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Gerald and Patricia Li-A-Ping; a brother, Triston Li-A-Ping; and many extended family members.
Visitation will be 4:00 PM– 5:00 PM Monday, April 18, 2022 at the All American Chapel, 5301 Ardennes Rd. Fort Bragg, NC 28310.
Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 PM following the visitation with Gloria Gordon officiating.
Burial with Full Military Honors will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28310.
