Ruth Darnell Myer

Mrs. Ruth Darnell Myer, daughter to the late Roy Clifton and Bulanda Dillow, was born on January 21, 1951 and she passed away peacefully at her home on June 23, 2026, at the age of 75. She has gone on to be with our Lord and Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones in a place of eternal peace.

She was a woman of deep faith and endless love. Her heart belonged to Jesus, and she lived each day as a reflection of His grace, kindness, and mercy. She found comfort and wisdom in reading her Bible and sharing His love to everyone she knew. Above all, Ruth loved her family. She was a source of encouragement, prayer, and unconditional love. Her warmth, gentle spirit and faithfulness created memories that will live on in the hearts of all she knew. Ruth’s life reminds us of the promise found in faith and the beauty of a life lived in devotion to God and love for others.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Mary Ann Tanksoi and Billie Carolyn Tuner.

She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Myer, son; Glenn Myer, Jr. (Courtney); two daughters, Trichell Dawn Myer, and Billie Jo Myer; seven grandchildren; one niece, Beth Ann Grant; five nephews, Carl Wayne Whitt, Joseph Turner, Larry Royce Turner, William Turner, and Cliffton David Goodwin. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Ruth will be deeply missed, remembered, and forever cherished. In leu of flowers, the family would like all donations to be made to, Family Life Center.
