Ruben Howard Robbins

Mr. Ruben Howard Robbins, 63, of Durham, NC passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, due to complications of cancer in Hock Family Pavilion.

Ruben was born in Totz, Kentucky, July 6, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. William H. Robbins and Burdette H. Robbins, two siblings, Charles Robbins and Jack Robbins, and a nephew Jeffrey Robbins.

He is survived by 7 siblings, Shirley Rapier and husband Andrew, Bill Robbins, Jim Robbins and wife Nancy, David Robbins and wife Linda, Sheila Rosemire and husband Jerry, Lonnie Robbins and wife Betsy, Karen Arthur Richardson and husband Mike, Renee Robbins, widow of Charles Robbins, Cathy Robbins, widow of Jack Robbins, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruben deeply loved his family and his church. We will dearly miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Timberlake Church of God, 3515 Sturbridge Dr. Hope Mills, NC with Pastor’s David Thurman and Phil Clark officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in honor of Ruben.
