Robert “Rob” Jirmnson Jr.

Robert “Rob” Jirmnson Jr., a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born and raised in New York City, Rob was a person full of life and many layers. He proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a graphic designer.

Rob was a Christian and found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures. He loved basketball, watching television, and most of all, making new friends. When he was younger, Rob had a special love for dancing and would enter dance competitions alongside his sister. His vibrant personality and ability to connect with others made him someone who was remembered and loved by many.

Rob leaves to cherish his memory his children, Anthony Ingram (Shannon), Robert Jirmnson III (Amber), and Tiffani Simms (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Anthony Ingram Jr., Cory Ingram, Jakobe Ingram, Skylar Ingram, Malaya Fritche, Anthony Wallace, Ja’dorai Jirmnson, Kai Loftus, Kory Simms, and Daedreana B.; and his siblings, Karen (Al) and April (Gary).

He also leaves behind the cherished memories of a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mabel Jirmnson, and his siblings, Mickey, Clarissa, and Romenia.

Those who knew Rob will remember his lively spirit, unique personality, and ability to make connections with others.

“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” - John 11:25-26

A memorial service & burial will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 AM
