Retired SSG Darrell B. Sanders, 74, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in his home.
Darrell was born June 15, 1939 in Mercer County, WV to the late John and Mildred Lusk Sanders. He retired from the US Army.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Sanders of the home; a son, Darrell Bane Sanders II of Missouri; step son, Michael Vuocolo of Fayetteville; brothers, Ed Sanders of Maryland and Gale Sanders of Florida; sister-in-law, Lucky Wilson of Spring Grove, IL and his three dogs, Scrapper, Daisey and Moxey.
Services will be held at a later date.
