Linda Carolyn Kelchner

Mrs. Linda Gray Kelchner went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Hospice House, Pinehurst, NC with her children by her side.

Linda was born on February 4, 1945 in Waynesville, NC to the late Raymond W. and Lucy Parton Gray.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William E Kelchner, Jr. and brother Fred Hembree.

She is survived by son Michael Bundy and his wife Ruth; daughter Lynne Bommele and her partner Chris Nowak; four grandchildren Lindsey Justice, Jessica Bundy, LeeAnne Bommele and Joshua Bundy.

Linda was a lifelong member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She retired from Unilever after many years of service and was a member of the Cape Fear Amateur Radio Society along with her husband Bill (KC4SWY and KU4W).

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Underwood officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the church from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorial contributions be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church.
