Larry Dickens
April 20, 1958 — October 16, 2017
Mr. Larry Dickens was born in Newark, New Jersey to Eddie Eugene Murchison and Lillie Mae Dickens. He entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was a peaceful, loving, and a giving person, who loved to smile and joke around. He attended Cumberland County Public School System and attended church at Christ Temple and True Vine of Spring Lake, NC.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Mittie Murchison, his father, Eddie E. Murchison, his wife, Marilyn Dickens.
Larry is survived by his mother Lillie Mae Dickens; one daughter, Margrette Nellie Ann Dickens Purcell of East Over, NC; two granddaughters, Jessica and Olivia; sister, Gloria Ann Dickens Hawthorne of Newark, NJ and a host of other siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
