Lainey Ann Meaut

Lainey Ann Meaut was born and passed on April 4, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Though her time here was brief, Lainey’s life was deeply meaningful and filled with love from the very beginning. She will forever be cherished in the hearts of her family, who awaited her with so much hope, love, and anticipation.

Lainey is survived by her loving mother, Cheyanne Groves, and father, Joseph Meaut Jr.; her precious sister, Aubrynn Jo Meaut; her maternal grandparents, Tonya and Alton Groves; her paternal grandmother, Tammy Meaut; and her aunts, Amanda Meaut, Halana Groves, and Bridgette Groves.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Andy Meaut.

In her short time, Lainey was deeply loved and brought a quiet, lasting impact to those who were waiting to meet her. She will always be carried in the hearts of her family, forever loved, forever remembered, and never forgotten.
