George Mayuga Amador, 73, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 27, 1952, in Cavite, Philippines, George grew up in the close-knit town of Indang alongside his parents and seven siblings. As a young adult, he moved to Olongapo City where he and his wife, Remie, began building a life together and raising their children. Fueled by an unshakable commitment to his family, George later migrated to the United States in search of better opportunities—always striving to give his loved ones a stable and fulfilling life.
George had a vibrant and successful career in the hospitality and food & beverage industry. His charisma, attentiveness, and dynamic presence made him a beloved figure in every establishment he graced. A gifted mixologist, George brought flair and warmth to his craft—making every gathering feel like a celebration.
Those who knew George will remember his deep passion for life. He loved to travel, dance, sing, cook, and embark on spontaneous adventures. He had an appetite for Asian cuisine and a knack for diving into bold new business ventures. His style was as big as his personality—he was rarely seen without his colorful shirts, strong cologne, and signature gold jewelry.
Above all else, George valued family. He was the heart of his home—a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. His presence brought joy, laughter, and boundless energy into every room.
George is survived by his beloved wife, Remie; his children Gerome and Molly, Jayson and Pia, Geremie and Angelito, Gizelle and Warren, and Germaine and John; and his grandchildren Erish, Gerard, Yomee, Eunyss, Gercy, Aidan, Chase, Ehra, Tody, Carter, Gavin, Liam, and Gift. His legacy lives on in their hearts and in the many lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and zest for life.
George Amador will be remembered for his radiant spirit, his love of family, and the unforgettable way he lived—boldly, joyfully, and always with heart.
