Mr. Frederick Tompkins, 71, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 in Fayetteville VA Medical Center.

Frederick was born in Newark NJ on September 2, 1948, son to the late Henry and Eleanor Lemberger Tompkins. He served in the US Army and did 1 tour in Vietnam receiving the Purple Heart. He later worked at an EMT before retirement.

He survived by his wife, Ayra Salvatierra Tompkins of the home; a daughter, Ayra Jackeline Tompkins of Raeford and 2 grandchildren, Joseline Tompkins and Ayline Tompkins, both of Raeford, two special babies, Sammy Alexander Tompkins and Jolie Miracle Tompkins of the home.

Mr. Tompkins will be laid to rest, 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

A Memorial service will be held a a later date.
