Mr. Earnest John Brooks, 55, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 in Woodlands Nursing Home in Fayetteville.
Earnest was born October 22, 1958 in Germany to the late Earnest Ross Brooks and Eleanor Maria Schauppa Brooks. He served in the US Air Force and worked in construction after serving in the Air Force. Earnest was a loving father, wonderful brother, talented musician and great craftsman.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Lance Brooks of Texas; daughter, Kerstin Lanette Brooks of Colonial Heights, VA; brother, Ericson Curt Brooks of Fayetteville; a sister, Mattje Jonas of San Marcus, TX.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. A Memorial Service will begin at 8:00 pm after the visitation with Reverend Robert Staples officiating.
