Earline Ellen Durden Gray

Earline Ellen Durden Gray, age 85 of Saint Pauls, NC, was born July 29, 1940, in Robeson County to the late Hester Durden and Ada Justice Durden and departed this life on August 23, 2025.

In addition to her parents, Earline is preceded in death by her sisters Bonnie Guy, and Joyce Holloman; seven brothers, Herman Durden, Thurman Durden, Winford Durden, Jimmy Durden, Glenn Durden, Roy Durden and Robert Durden.

Earline leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing her one child, James Anthony Gray (Nora) of Lumber Bridge; one sister, Mary Braddock (Roy) of; South Carolina three grandchildren: Shaun Gray, Crystal Gray Thackeray (George), and Heather Gray (Benjamin), and six Great Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Calvery Cornerstone Holiness Church, 337 S. Elizabeth Street, Saint Pauls, NC 28384. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Hodge officiating.
