Ms. Dorothea Louise Strickland, 73, of Fayetteville passed away on August 7, 2024.
Dorothea was preceded in death by her Husband, Russel Strickland; Son, Brian Thurman; and Parents' Robert & Rosa Wilcox.
Ms. Strickland is survived by her Sons, Glen Strickland, Russel Starr, and Christopher Armstrong; Sister, Eva Wilcox; four Grandchildren and four Great-Grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Dorothas' life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28304. A gathering of friends and family will be held directly following the memorial service at the funeral home.
