Donald Allen-Sidney Redding

Donald Allen-Sidney Redding, 22, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Donald was a proud graduate of Terry Sanford High School, where he shared his love of music as a trumpet player. He went on to attend Western Carolina University, where he was in his fifth year pursuing a degree in Engineering Technology. Donald’s dedication to his education was evident through his membership in the NSF FLITE Scholarship Program and his recognition on both the Chancellor’s List and Dean’s List. He was a young man who took great pride in his education and continued working toward a bright future.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Donald E-L Redding and Tabitha Redding; his brothers, Aubrey, Sean, Asher, Quinten, and James Redding; his aunt and uncle, Crystal Redding and Chris Whitehead; his grandmother, Ann Redding; the Pack Family and McGowan Family, along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at LaFayette Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

The family requests that friends and family wear blue or their favorite horror movie themed t-shirt for visitation and services.
