Dana Jo Kemplin

Dana Jo Kemplin (Legg) of Fayetteville North Carolina passed away on October 29th, 2025, at First Moore Regional hospital after her battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

Dana was born in Japan on March 14,1965 she was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Peggy Legg. She now joins them in eternal rest. Dana was a graduate of 71st high School. After high school she started her career driving school buses for Cumberland County school system for 13 years. She then went on to work in retail and merchandising where she left a lasting impression with those she had the pleasure of working with.

Dana is survived by her daughter Heidi Kemplin (Mike) of Fayetteville, a son Darryl " Shaun" Kemplin (Beth) of Fayetteville, a brother Joseph Legg (Carie) of Fayetteville, a sister Tracey Berger ( Danny) of Huntsville, Alabama, 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three nieces, two nephews and her beloved two dogs Gypsy and Jasper.

Dana will be missed dearly by all. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. We will notify family and friends once that date is chosen.
