Brenda Viola Colantuono

Brenda Viola Colantuono, 72, of Fayetteville, North Carolina went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 25, 2026 at Valley Hospice House. She was born April 21, 1954 to the late James Lonnie Stewart and Vivian Louise Taylor.

Brenda was a deeply spiritual woman who had a great love for Jesus. She loved and cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren, and loved to spend her time with them. Brenda was a bohemian soul who loved nature and animals, but also enjoyed the comfort, tidiness, and air conditioning that could be found indoors. With a kind and gentle soul, she never met a stranger, and was very genuine with everything she did and everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband Raymond J. Colantuono of Fayetteville, NC; daughters Jennifer L. Benton Tucker (Shayne) of Bunnlevel, NC and Angela R. Benton Ivey (David) of Fayetteville, NC; brother James “Butch” Stewart (Kellie) of Hickory, NC; sisters Gail Stewart Davis (Joseph) of Fayetteville, NC and Joyce Stewart Dakin of Memphis, TN; grandchildren Ashlyn Enloe Rice (Hannah) of Minot, ND and Steele Enloe of Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on July 11, 2026 at LaFayette Funeral Home.
