Tyra you will be missed on this side of Zion, but one day we will see you again in Heaven with your white robe and golden crown. The word says" to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord".   May God wrap His loving arms around her son and family.

I had the pleasure of working in the same office with Tyra for about a year, and I can say she always had a smile and a kind look for all those around her. She radiated strength and courage, and I am so very sorry for the loss her family is enduring. I pray that God touches her loved ones with his peace and comfort, and with the knowledge that this life on earth is not the end for us; it is just a stepping stone to our eternal salvation with Christ.

This woman was an inspiration to me as I first entered the Army. She taught me how to empower being a woman in the military and how regardless of age you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. She will be missed by myself and the boys. Deepest condolences on your loss.

May the Lord bless and continue to watch over your family during this time of grief. Tyra, you fought a long hard battle. Rest my sister. You suffer no more. God needed another Angel by his side. You will never be forgotten and I hope that one day there will be a cure for breast cancer. I will continue the quest that you so wished. Love you Tyra.
