Norma E. (Hartman) Grimsley

Mrs. Norma E. Grimsley, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Norma was born in Indiana on March 6, 1944 to the late Robert P. and Edna Mae Barbee Hartman. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Robert David Grimsley.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, James Alfred Grimsley of the home; a son, James Alfred Grimsley Jr. of Hope Mills; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brooks of Fayetteville; a brother, Jimmy Hartman of Sparta, TN; a sister, Robbie Shrum of Scottsville, KY; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, January 15, 2018 at Crystal Springs Chapel, 1400 Crystal Springs Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28306.

Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Crystal Springs Chapel with pastor Bruce Suggs officiating.

Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
