MSGT James M. Martin Sr. (Retired), 70, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in his home.

MSGT Martin was born in St. Joseph, MO on April 1, 1949 to the late Hugh and Dorothy Marie Emery Martin. He retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Teresa Martin and a grandson, Reid Martin.

He is survived by two sons, James M. Martin, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and Cody Brocklman and wife Shawna of Kansas City, MO; a brother, four sisters; and four grandchildren, Jordan, Nicodemus, Xandria, and Dakota.

Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at LaFayette Funeral Home, 6651 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304 between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at LaFayette Funeral Home.

Interment with Full Military Honors follow the service at 12:00 noon in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg, NC.
