Joseph Aaron Barefoot

Joseph Aaron Barefoot, 26, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at CapeFear Valley Medical Center. 

Joe was born in Cumberland County on September 20, 1990 to William Gregory Barefoot Sr. and Karen Barefoot. He graduated from Southview High School and after college he became a Tutor in Mathematics. He enjoyed computers, video games, fishing and camping. He had a very big heart and loved to joke and cut up with everyone. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Joseph is survived by his Parents, William Gregory Barefoot Sr. and Karen Barefoot of Fayetteville; his fiancé, Ashleigh Mercer; his brother, William Gregory Barefoot Jr. and his wife Crystal of Fayetteville; a sister, Tiffany Michelle Page of Fayetteville; his niece, Riley Barefoot of Fayetteville; his nephews, Jordan and Austin Resler of Fayetteville and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. 

Visitation will be held 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Thursday, August 31 2017 at Crystal Springs Chapel, 1465 Crystal Springs Chapel Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28306.  

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday September 1, 2017 at Crystal Springs Chapel with Pastor Bruce Suggs officiating.
