Hilda Gonzales

Ms. Hilde Gonzales, 94, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Ms. Gonzales was born in Austria on September 7, 1924. She married Juan E. Gonzales who was in the US Army and made their home in Fayetteville. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. 1st. Sergeant Gonzales died in Vietnam in 1971 and she continued raising her family and volunteering. Along with her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Lipe.

She is survived by her son, Walter Gonzales of Fayetteville and a grandson, Stephen Parker.

Graveside services for Ms. Gonzales will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Bragg, NC.
